Attending my first “serious” (i.e. not student-run) conference back in September 2018 was quite an enjoyable experience. I got to meet some interesting people from a wide range of backgrounds, in addition to seeing incredibly cutting-edge research being presented from diverse disciplines.
Finally, I’m very pleased I was able to present the research I conducted during my intercalated degree, picking up a Rob Clarke award (silver) for undergraduate research for it along the way.
