I am a doctor trained at the University of Cambridge and an aspiring cardiac surgeon.
Currently, I am undertaking a seven-year specialty training post in Cardiothoracic Surgery in the East of England. I am also a Teaching By-fellow at Churchill College in the University of Cambridge, teaching undergraduate natural scientists and medical students.
I obtained an undergraduate research degree in Physiology, and my project investigated murine models of arrhythmic syndromes and the effects of metabolic derangement on the formation of myocardial arrhythmic substrate. This work has since been published in peer-reviewed journals. Extra-curricular interests of mine include distance running, astronomy, and aviation/flight simulators.
